I didn’t think I was a loop kinda guy until I started playing with Gauss (Hainbach/Bram Bos) which has changed how I think about it. It’s so simple! Take away the synchronisation! Nothing here is ‘synced’ to tempo in the classical way, in fact the bpm doesn’t really matter! Just play straight in and let the loops loop. It feels much more organic to do it this way, less formulaic and for me, more enjoyable. Freedom!
(There are some sync options thing Gauss but I’m not really using them)
Agonizer was always going to be an exciting app and so I used it for every sound/channel. Just using pre-sets but they are all so good! Well done Jakob and Kai 👍🏼
and whilst I’m praising Kai, MM-1 is my favourite app of the year - I would be so lost with out it. Set to random it fits perfectly within this free, less formulaic (good word) vibe.
